I quit going to Chicken Shack, as their prices are too high ($17 for eight ribs, some broasted potatoes and a roll?!) but I’d like to get a bottle of their BBQ sauce.

48 year old here, and our family and everybody else’s used Open Pit for decades until Sweet Baby Ray’s came out, which is now the standard.

I remember years back that mom accidentally bought a bottle of Kraft BBQ sauce and it was horrible and a buddy was an odd-ball who liked KC Masterpiece, which I thought was fine.

As for the limited production “artisanal” BBQ sauces everybody is memeing about, I like Chicken Shack’s house recipe but as they’ve become so expensive, I never go there anymore and it’s not available in grocery stores (as far as I know).
