please give us your fried chicken and cheese curd casserole recipe. One of two things can be happening here: you're either a pretty good cook and can make outlandish combinations work, or you have no clue what you're doing. I'm willing to bet it's the latter, especially with the side dishes selection. The funny thing is you probably could've made something equally obscene, like a lobster alfredo lasagna, but paired it with normal sides, like a green salad and dinner rolls, and they wouldn't have batted an eye.

Bottom line is, your friends don't trust you in the kitchen and rightfully so. Next time roast a chicken. If they ask about calories then, you'll know you need to make better friends.
