Can we have a thread where we argue about chili and call each other faggots whilst calling everyone else's recipes shit?

I'll get the ball rolling. Here's the chili I'll be making today:

>onion and garlic goes in
>2 chopped up nameless generic pickled chili peppers goes in
>big hunk of minced beef goes in and browns
>red peppers goes in
>fill up with passata
>add drained tin of kidney beans
>add drained tin of chickpeas
>add fresh chopped tomatoes
>eyeball mixture or corriander, cayenne pepper and cumin
> also a squirt of harrisa
>pour in a beer (normally something brown but not fussy)
>leave it to cook for a couple of hours

I serve it up with rice and like to eat it in a tortilla with any or all of the following: grated cheddar/sour cream/guac/ salsa

Yeah I'm European, and you know goddamn well that I'm not eating Chile. I'm not American, how could that fit in my stomach.

I'm eating Chili Con Carne, I don't care what's authentic, I don't care if some Mexican is throwing a bottle of Tequila at the wall right now. I like it with beans and minced meat. It's quite cheap, it fills you up, it tastes great and it's called Chili Con Carne. Deal with it, turbonerd.

On an unrelated note, sorry for calling you that. I know the dish that I cook as Chili Con Carne and I'm going to keep on calling that, no matter how much anybody says that "it's not real" or that beans don't belong into it. That's how I know it, that's how I'm going to make it.
