My mom was from England. Long passed away. I shall never forget, if sick you got two softboiled eggs on buttered toast, two slices of bacon, a big mug of hot tea with milk and sugar, and a dolop of orange marmalade or lemon curd on toast. Or eggs and tomatoes (with mushrooms if you had the money) on toast,fish n chips, eggs n chips,leg of lamb with roasted small potatoes, home baked bread, Stilton cheese. to this day, my friends consider me nuts because I like beer room temperature or cool, not ice cold. If feeling bad I sometimes do that, even now. eggs and tomatoes ( fresh or caned diced tomatoes, sauted in some butter or margarine, chopped mushrooms if so lucky, ad two eggs per person. salt and black pepper to taste. serve over buttered toast, with a big mug of hot tea.. turn off the phone and read a book kon tiki or watch morning tv. take the day off, you need a bit of rest. but not two, unless really ill.

I was a late (born when they were mid 40's) fond memories.in college I would cook almoast the same every day for supper. baked or mashed potato, with hamburger based red sauce. I like salads, eggs with tomato, chip or crisps are interchangasble and the racial ter, packo, sand nigger or in the us nigger.. though ex militare, you calm yourself when you think some of those mightbe your cousins. habits. though not roman catholic I usually eat fish on fridays. I live in a rural area. it might sound like war 3 saturday night, sunday morn tillnoon is dead quiet. churches. if you don't attend, you are respectful same old same old need not be borring. it's up to you
