How are you cooking it? Of course there's a point to blanching vegetables, but it depends on what you're going to do with them. You posted an image labeled "steamed broccoli", and of course there's absolutely no reason in hell to blanch broccoli before steaming it. Sort yourself out, delete your thread, and come back when you have a coherent question to ask.
