Lol. Spice/masala is a broad term for a variety of herbs and spices. Coriander and cumin and fenugreek are spices. And so is chili. But the thing is that most brainlets conflate the capsaicin heat from chili as being what "Spice" or "Masala" is.

Anyways, so explanation of simple culinary terminology to Ameriblobbers aside, lets refocus onto MALABAR food. Malabar = part of Kerala where there is phenomenal seafood that uses coconut flavors infused with traditional keralite flavors, like mint and curry leaves etc
