Awful cooking experiences

I was smoking a deer ham and to keep it from drying out I was going to melt some beef fat I had saved from a few steaks for just that purpose and inject it. I put it in a little metal bowl and put it on the smoker next to the ham but it wasn't rendering down so I put it in a coffee mug and threw it in the microwave for four minutes

Jesus Harold Christ the smell made me want to puke for hours and the fat itself had turned into a black pulsing volcano just puffing away with smoke
