Its not standards, its called "groupthink". Surprised people for fall for that so readily. Your board is censored when someone can't make a comment without automatically being declared a troll for it.

I suppose the below points are not the "official" stance of all /ck/?

Even the worst homemade burger is automatically superior to all fast food.

If someone claims they enjoy fast food, they are a troll. Everyone knows that the billions upon billions of $ people spend on fast food is really just smoke and mirrors. Obviously some rich people got together and donated that money to make it *appear* we like fast food.

Pic related: have always been disappointed with McD's. Every burger had something about it that just tasted off.

Q.pounder meat tastes watery somehow. Double cheeseburger cheese has a yukky texture, needs more topping to balance it. All the other small burgers are too dry. The Angus deluxe came close, but the meat has that cheap sirloin taste to it and its dry.

Daily Double though, it is excellent. Give it a try if you've given up on the other burgers.

Here's what you do, buy a side salad with your favorite dressing, and two McDoubles, and a free pack of mayo. 3 bucks plus tax. Remove the bottom from one of the doubles, add some side salad to the burger. Cover the bottom with half the mayo and put on the burger. Apply the other half the mayo to the bottom of bun , add the rest of the sald on top of the upside down burger. Now take the other double, throw away the bottom bun and place the rest on top. Save the sald dressing pack for later.
You now have a burger with twice the meat and cheese of a big mac for 3 bucks. Enjoy.
