Looking for something similar in quality and effect to Pikesville Straight Rye, feel like I’ve hit a wall in the $50 category.

Pic related is honestly 10/10, I switched from Straight Bourbon to Straight Rye a while back now.

The Bourbon is just to sweet and candied for me, a good quality Rye has Licorice, BlackBerry, Honey, Leather and pepper notes without tasting like candy corn.

I’ve switched to Rye, America’s true Whiskey.

Rye isn’t over candied like Bourbon , Rye has bold Licorice, BlackBerry, Leather, Pepper, Oak flavor.

I got this bottle of Pikes Straight Rye for $49.99 at my local Spirits Depot, it has become a 10/10 to me and that is super rare.

I have been doing Straight Rye lately, and I now prefer it over Straight Bourbon.

The Straight Bourbon is too sweet and candied for me now, I prefer the Blackberry, Licorice, Leather and Spice from Straight Rye vastly.

I got this 750ml of Pikes from my favorite Spirits Depot for $49.99 and couldn’t be happier, for me this is 10/10.
