>a proper vegan
I have never met a proper fucking vegan. They either eat the fake meat or claim they don't and then secretly eat the fake meat.

There are even certain whole foods and supplements that contradict veganisms ethics.

I can definitely tell you what is better than fake cheese. Real cheese, that comes from a healthy and comfortable ruminant who is fed a diet so high in quality she couldn't even dream of getting without the aid of humans. And the person who makes the cheese puts their heart and soul into it using ancestral knowledge, combined with alchemy and art to create something so incredible you never forget it. You haven't lived until you've had cheese with a story behind it.

You do realize roundup is patented as an antibiotic.

Not to mention regenerative farmers wont use hormones or antibiotics, since the animals are fed better they are healthier and since regenerative farmers prioritize soil health they won't risk damaging it with tainted manure. So any sort of growth hormones or antibiotics just wont do.

So tell me, how is the soil health of your grocers land?

Hey, I mean, I just think if you're going to be responsible for an animals death, it better be for a good reason.

I definitely think it's kind of unethical to sit and pretend that nothing died for your food just because you are the end consumer. It's just as bad to kill hogs for chickpea crop protection as it is to kill hogs to be directly eaten. But both have to be done. I believe everyone who eats meat should kill an animal at least once in their lives. I guess one could say one should also have a garden if they are going to eat in general.

You intentionally pay for people to protect their crops when you buy them. These people will rip animals apart with dogs, or shoot them en masse from copters, or plant false crops filled with explosives for them to eat (a pregnant elephant died from this)...

Perhaps you're upset because you know you can do better. You really can. But at the same time, you really can't. You can only do what you think is best for yourself.

I think it's best to have livestock that are well cared for and that I kill myself. I already have my first animal lined up. Its death will be a mercy killing as it is deformed and cannot live outside of quarantine because the other animals beat it the fuck up for being a cripple.

Yeah i'm gonna slit it's throat (after knocking it out). But I don't see how it's cruel. But this is something I gotta do as a meat eater. Just like you as a vegan should grow your own crops.
