the eggs are just a bit more done than I like, but otherwise fantastic.Link sausages, back bacon ( UK bacon little resembles typical US, belly, or streaky bacon, more like like ham, which to be honest, I like. At least 40-55% is not lost as excess grease, and really not too thrilled with the thought of someone striping a leg vein for by-pass heart surgery.) I like beans, sauteed mushrooms, and canned Roma tomatoes are just fine with me. I also like that the bread was obviously buttered before toasting(or frying). All the plate lacks is a little strawberry rhubarb jam or apple jelly. ( sorry UK and England, not a huge fan of orange marmalade or lemon curd.) And to be honest, Though I enjoy beans and bacon on toast,( Mom was Britt,,England, Bristol in fact (like The somewhat notorious Ed Teach... Blackbeard... and by the way, nasty thugs who would slit yore throat for a drink of rum, not pirates of the Caribbean or treasure island.)I digress. That looks mighty good, maybe subbing fried potatoes and spring onions for the beansCup of hot black tea at breakfast You get the hot, sweet milky tea with toast at bed time, aka 101 dalmations. Or Kon-tiki. Never fail to read to your kids, and encourage them to read. My Dad was Scotts/Irish (scotch is a drink)but USA, also a cop. (constable on patrol) both were great. And Dad could grill steaks, make beans and ham hocks, black coffee,and burn an egg in 90 seconds flat. With lot's of black pepper. They both tought me two or three things.We all bleed red on the inside, never give up, teach your kid's to read, and if you lay out of school you better really be sick. (also if you hear your middle name called, you are screwed ie XXXX XXX XXXX you are about to miss the bus, Don't make me come up /in there.) Sorry, got far afield from traditional English Breakfasts, But far fewer traditional Englishmen left. Or Women. Used to eat thiose prior to early morning squirel hunting trips, then no one wanted to hunt.

what utter horseshit. you use canned tomatoes,oil, onion,salt, basil, oregano and whatever you like anyway.Why reinvent the wheel. I like hunts or delmonte as a base. If you have hours to cook, sure it's nice to make your own sauce, but the result is basicly the same or worse. I ate at some friends home recently. Her "signature" home made marinara sauce. hunks of uncooked tomatoes (didn't even peel the things) slices of almost raw garlic, zucchini, twice the salt of seawater, and ground turkey that wasn't browned, homemade rolls that could double as baseballs, no butter- bad for you- and sangria made with 1 bottle cheap wine and kool-aid. I like stir fry and pasta primavera. not when I want marinara sauce.easiest way, start with a base you like, adjust. and for vegan/vegetarians, even the "meat flavored" ones? very few animals were harmed. it's like dollar store chicken and noddle soup at some point a chicken might have walked through it.
