Solly's is the best burger in existence. Too bad every picture online shows them in a puddle of melted butter. You have to eat them fresh, when the butter is in a warm semi-solid state.

As far as butter burgers go, you're replacing beef fat with milk fat. Instead of 80/20 beef, you go with lean sirloin, and put fresh butter under the top bun hot off the grill. Excellence.

Man, you have to go to Solly's. They make the best butter burger, period. Go to Solly's in Glendale, get a single with fries and a milkshake, then enjoy the best burger you've ever had.

(caveat, Mel is trying to retire and letting some different cooks take the wheel without his oversight, so it's a little inconsistent lately. If the man himself is there (somewhat balding white guy) or the more husky back dude is there, then you're gonna have a good burger.

Fucking Solly's! Get two butter burgers, one with the stewed onions, one without, a small fry, and a malt of your choice.

Make sure you don't order a double or their larger patties, because it kind of screws up the bread to meat ratio.
