1 bullet costs about 19 cents. If you don't own a gun then you're probably gay and you should go to the doctor and get that checked out.

Most people who hunt own land, or are friends to those who do. There is even things called public hunting lands which are free (for a reason, but I have had luck on them before). Total cost 0 dollars.

Field dressing a deer is easy, after that you just cut off the pieces of meat you want, some is pretty shitty but the loins,roast, and steak cuts are great. Cut off the head and let sit for a couple months outside then boil it, toss it in bleach and you got yourself a skull+antlers trophy.

I just use freezer paper and ziplock bags and my shit turns out fine. You can also make some kick ass sausage if you add in pork/beef fat with a grinder.

A whole deer worth of meat at the super market will run you 100x more then doing it yourself, and believe it or not its 100x more enjoyable then going to the supermarket.
