>on drive-through
>alone, it's the dead part of the day after lunch, and before school ends
>I have an accent, a thick one but english is still my first language
>one person in the lane
>she orders an 'almond milk cinnamon machiatto'
>fumble my line because I couldn't really hear her
>'did you say a 'coconutmilk mocha macchiato?'
>silence on the headset
>the car drives up to the window
>she winds down her window
>screams at me
>I wanna talk to the manager. NOW.
>I call over the shift
>it's my good buddy, drink together ya know the deal
>He says 'what's the problem ma'am?
>I'm standing just to the side
>she caws like a crow, if her face could show pigmentation other than black it'd be red
>I ain't paying for no drink, I don't wanna support his livelihood, cuz he STOOPID
>our jaws drop
>awkward silence
>trying to hold back laughs my buddy gives her a free drink
>she speeds off
>laugh about till this day
