I remember riding on the fender of the tractor on a super hot and sunny day when I was 5yo. Dad was driving it around cutting the hay with the tractor. Around noon, mom drove up on the 3-wheeler and served us sandwiches and water. The glasses where mason jars full of ice cubes and water, with the rings and lids on top to keep them from splashing around. I went on to follow the tractor on foot with my empty jar and filled it with big grasshoppers that I later used for fishing. Mom fixed us grilled fish for dinner.
