dont know why but my dad bought this on his way home today. said he payed just under $40 after tax because it was on sale at Walgreens. we each had a glass. it does have a little smoke to it but to me it just reminds me of blackened marshmallows and roasted peanuts. smell and taste both no more than a 5/10, about as light as my Bushmills 10 and absolutely abrupt finish due to the proof. watery mouthfeel and not even half as smooth as some of the bottom shelf 100 proof bourbons I've had.
