I never learned any of her recipes that I enjoyed as a child. In recent years she's talked about cooking as a burdensome activity, she basically just heats stuff up in the microwave or does canned soup on the stove. I guess at the end of the day though I don't remember a ton of her cooking besides beef roasts served with rice and bak choy. I loved that shit but I feel like whenever we ate at her house that was what we ate.
