as you get older it becomes more difficult to remember and learn new things because your brain plasticity goes away so if you feel like culture has stopped or you keep thinking that 1980 was only 20 years ago rather than 50 years ago that's pretty much marks when your brain plasticity ended and you became a boomer stuck in his ways.
