I used to work at a brew store. The only people who were belligerent about beer were either fat low income white people who would trap me and complain to me about beer not being specifically german lager or Budweiser. No one is really that snobby any more so it's just the people who drink bud bitching about something that hasnt been a problem for years. Wine people can still be really snobby though.

Except Belgian sour beers are fantastic. And there are some great german beers that are served with fruit syrup. Stop pretending you can only make beet one way or in one rigid system. The Reinheitsgebot is meme garbage in the modern era so loosen the fuck up nerd.
