As much as I loved my grandma these granny candies were horrible. Try to pick one up and the whole bowl comes up because they've been sitting around for 20 years and their all fused to each other and the bowl.

Pull one out and the whole glass dish comes up with it because nobody's touched them in like 30 years.
I loved my grandparents but those candies they had all over were not something I wanted to be around.

Granny candies that have been sitting around for 20+ years. Stuff like pic related and others. I loved my grandparents when they were alive but they had these bowls of candies that had been sitting for like 20 years years or something, of course I wouldn't say anything about them, I'd try to push them on friends and relatives, fair game!
