What's the appeal of avocado?

As a millennial myself (I can never spell this word without spellcheck), I never did understand the obsession with avocados. Just don't get the appeal. Then again, I'm not sure I've ever had an avocado in my life. Except for these chips mom used to bring home. But those kept giving me this allergic reaction where eating them made me high.

Anyway, pic related has made me realise that once the current prison generation eventually die off, and inevitably replaced by the millennial generation, avocados would replace cigarettes as in-house currency.
