Absolutely. We're heavy on dairy here so watch out for that.
It's basically steamed/boiled dough chunks dumped into the water thru a grate of some sort. Just add salt and some oil into the water, it's done when they float on top and theyre still white and fluffy. Drain, pour in bowl, add sour creme/white yogurt and cottage cheese, salt/pepper to taste. Mix. Chop up some scallions and seared bacon, add it while serving, done.
Sometimes i pour the bacon fat to the stuff, just a small amount.
