Juicy Lucys are pretty memeish. Ive had two- Matts Bar in Minneapolis and Lucy's Burgers in White Bear Lake. Matts was good, Lucy's was too much and they take forever to come out. I'd try it but there is a reason the cheese goes on top of the meat. Pic is from Lucy's

What isn't a meme is fried cheese curds. I had never even heard of these things before visiting a friend in chicago and they are a midwestern staple sidedish.
