This. Over and over again, this.

I don't really discuss food in real life all that much, so I don't know what people's "in person" reaction to vegans usually are.

But pretty much every time I see a discussion of veganism online, it goes like this:
>vegan: "here's some information, or my personal view and reasoning in the context of this conversation."
>meat eater #1: "WHY ARE VEGANS SO EMOTIONAL GOD YOU KEK HOW DARE YOU PLANTS ARE LIVING BEINGS TOO VEGANS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO FORCE ME TO EAT LIKE YOU I HATE VEGANS SO MUCH I AM SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS TRYING TO ACT SO SUPERIOR"
>meat eater #2-20: "see? this is why I hate vegans. I am going to go eat some bacon now. did we trigger you, vegan? isn't it amazing how we're all going to go eat bacon? does it piss you off?"

It's hilarious, and kind of amazing to watch. I rarely ever comment on vegan threads anymore, but I always go in to watch the trainwreck of triggered meat eaters.
