or what to mix with a modern 4loko to make it old school?
the closest from scratch would be to mix vodka with a original monster energy drink and a splash of something strongly flavored like cherry juice.
something like:
200ml vodka
1 OG monster
1 shot cherry juice

It would be a lot better if you used a really high proof alcohol +150 proof that way you're not watering down the carbonation of the monster.
