Our birthrate is low enough that the population is decreasing rapidly. Yeah, we don't accept converts either (its a bit more complex of an issue, we do accept converts to the religion, but not to the community). Many parsees abandon the community as well, because you are exiled if you marry a non-parsi in some cases. I'm getting married next year, but it took 2 years for my parents to find me a parsi girl. I think its going to get worse with each generation.

Ethiopian food is indeed delicious. Dat injera.

Buddhism's culture is still pretty prevalent where the religion is. Japan is an edge case - they sold their soul to the west, religion is just a part of that.

Good that you want to help out, you will be rewarded with delicious food.

Pic related is a traditional parsi nouroz dish I made recently, called irani samosa. Its samosa filled with sweet onion, cilantro, poha (rice flakes) and spices. I guess its vegan, lel. Let me know if you want recipe.
