When i was working in Paris, I and some of the other chefs used to go to a small cafe, and order a baguette with ham and butter. I was apprehensive at first but it was all I could afford.

Needless to say, it was delicious.

I've attached an image, this is an image board after all.

the sandwich in question, they call a Jambon Buerre.

I cant recommend it enough.
