Greetings, /ck/. I moved into my apartment a couple of weeks ago, and so far I've been loving it, but I need a bit of advice.

I have a range stovetop, so obviously I can't put anything directly on a flame. I can't reasonably grill anything either, which is upsetting, because I've always wanted to learn how to make a perfectly-cooked steak, but I don't think I can. (That, and I really love grilled foods in general).

What can I do about this situation? I was considering buying a comal or some other griddle-esque appliance, so would I be able to use that as a way of grilling things?

I don't have any outdoor area to cook, either.
