I can't think of one specific memory but when I was kid whenever my Mom had errands to run and dropped my brother and I off at my grandma's for the day grandma would spoil us by letting us make big bowls of ice cream as soon as my Mom left.
I always looked forward to that, spending time with my grandma was great.
She's 92 now and her health is failing. Going to be sad when she goes.
