It's not because of fried chicken, it's because KFC is fucking trash.
First of all, the chicken isn't that good. They give you such small pieces of chicken, it's ridiculous. Not to mention the abhorrent sides - the mashed potatoes and gravy are good, it's impossible to fuck that up, but the wedges are bland and soggy, the green beans are nasty, the biscuits have as much flavor as the napkins, etc.
It's overpriced to shit. You can get the same amount of chicken/more at other places for less than it costs at KFC.
The restaurants are always dirty. Always. I have never been to a clean KFC in years. There's always a wet floor sign, the drink station is always a mess, there's shit all the tables, etc.
And the staff is always god fucking awful. They always have an attitude, they always act like you're the reason they have to work at KFC.
It's a miserable god damn place, it's expensive, the food is awful, the people suck, everything about KFC is terrible. Everywhere is better than KFC. Popeye's, Church's, your shitty local place, your school cafeteria, the rotisserie chicken that's been in the gas station for a week, the frozen fucking tendies that've been in the bottom of your freezer since '97.
