So recently I found out about these lil babies, the almighty Hasslebeck potatoes!

So is there just one way to make the Hasslebeck, or can you flip-the-script on the hasslebeck and put cheese in the hasslebeck slices or something too in the hasslebeck?

I mean does it have to always be garlic inside the hasslebeck?? I love garlic but i want my hasslebeck to be a reflection of my own tastes, why not a shallot in my hasslebeck instead of garlic in my hasslebeck!

So question to you hasslebeck connoisseurs out there, what are some ways to vary the hasslebeck more towards a personal taste, what are your experiences with hasslebecks?

I'm bout to make another ovenload of HASSLEBACKS. Last time i made them each bit was more succulent than the next.
I called my mom earlier and bitched her out because she didnt make these when i was growing up, i mean how fucking hard is it to slice a potato and put some tasty shit inbetween?
I'm making some HASSLEBACKS potatos for Thanksgiving and theres gonna be one potato short because fuck you mom.
