It's all good but like tuna, salmon, and sardines, quality varies from brand to brand and can to can
Kippers on buttered toast are one of my favourite breakfasts but I've never tried tinned kippers
I see lots of herring in sauce in Lidl and Aldi. I pick up some tins every now and then and have them with bread or rice
