Years ago, I read a book that I randomly picked up at a used book sale in the $.50 bin, called "Something Light", which was written by Margery Sharp, who actually was quite a prolific writer, but I digress...
Anyway, the heroine in the book subsided on tea as a meal for 2 meals out of the day. (The character was a photographer of dogs, so you can imagine the poverty, lol). Anyway, the rich descriptions of her daily tea rituals (since that was her meal), ALWAYS made me have to get up and make a pot of tea, they were so good. I need to go back and re-read that. It was a cute little comforting book and in this cold weather, I already want to repeat her tea table, lol.
