My partner sent me this today and asked if I could make it for him. He said it's basically just chicken, ham and swiss chease breaded and baked, which sounds easy enough, but we don't like swiss! What are alternatives for this in chicken corn on blue?

I just made these rolled up cordon bleus like in this tasty video

they turned out very delish, I shallow fried them like in this video but it was hard to get them well done through and through, I ended up cutting them in half and putting them back in the pan. I thought about doing some sort of reverse sear with this dish if I make it again, does this make sense? first frying them to get cross, then finishing them in the oven?

For me? It's the chicken gordon blue.
