The Slav at Korzo in Brooklyn.
High quality meat grilled med rare, then let cool. Once cool it's wrapped in dough along with Eastern European style farmer's cheese, house made sauerkraut, juniper berries and paprika stewed pork. Then it gets dropped in the deep fryer.

At $16 I've had more expensive burgers (Spotted Pig, for example) but this was the absolute best. Pic related.
