>IWhat's the best snacking dark chocolate that you can buy in bulk?
I find Lindt in the grocery is not economical, but okay for baking purposes, like a flourless torte or molten cake recipe.

Honestly, when I'm prepping my luggage for some nice carry-on chocolate, I like the firmer dark chocolate route, but, I used to hit up Whole Foods and look for some new stuff small batch kind of bars from whatever up and coming company, a dark chocolate w/hazelnuts or dried cherries or orange zest or coffee beans. There will often be a brand on sale, such that you get 3 levels of intensity to try.

Walgreens, believe it or not, has a store brand called DeLish on par with most of that, and will do in a pinch. They have one flavor with crushed corn flakes...really good, and I believe a gingery one with chewy bits. Anyway, if you want to save money, they're great, and they carry at least 10 world brands of bars, from Godiva to whatever little batch bars exist at Whole Foods, seriously.
