Man, this thread is just further proof that boomers are so quick to seethe and complain about someone making the notion that people should try to be more kind and understanding.
The lack of self awareness is hilarious, boomers literally are just emotionally stunted children.

So basically I have to live on my own and the current equipment from my flat is kinda shit, what else would you add to the list for a knowledgable bachelor cook? I already have the basic cutlery, glassware and pots.
What I managed to come up with as the bare essentials for most cooking purposes:
>a quality chefs, bread and pairing knife
>microplane and a vegetable peeler
>grater
>carbon steel pan
>cast iron pan
>nonstick pan
>2-3 cutting boards: one for meats/germy shit and one for veg
>a sharpener
>a cooking scale
