its not even that much its only a 375mL and only 35% ABV, when i was cutting back i would use a leftover 375mL whiskey bottle as a guide to limit my self, but i'd fill it with 50% ABV vodka. I would also drink it as fast as possible otherwise i wouldn't get a buzz and wind up grabbing the handle of vodka for more.

I think a soda costs just as much as a beer at my usual places.
So I'd get a beer and give that a slug of vodka.
Or just sneak sips from the flash in the bathroom.
Or drink at home since I obviously shouldn't be in a bar if I'm worried about the cheapest way to get alcohol.

It's context dependent. Going to a dive bar at 11 AM is not considered very socially acceptable either. And on the other hand, taking a swig from a flask at night when you're sitting around with your buddies after a night BBQ or whatever is fairly well accepted. Although it's poor form to not offer the flask around in that case.
And that brings us to the real issue with flasks; they typically hold something like 120 ml. That's not enough, man.
A half liter water bottle is the true drinking man's choice.

Animals are monstrous pricks and there is no moral or ethical highground to be found in not eating them, and the world is fucked to already fucked all to hell no matter what you do, so there's no practical value or long-term payoff to be had in cutting out the bacon and butter. I can only cook eggs and I barely crack eggs somedays because I break em too quick and forget to use enough oil. But when I get it right they're pretty damn good eggs
