Detroit style is better than these, which are merely square pizzas, absolutely nothing of note whatsoever other than the shape.

Detroit style is about the crust, or lack thereof, replaced by crispy caramelized cheese.

It's fine but it's basic. Detroit pizza is the real winner special snowflake.

I would say it's fairly popular. In any case, it is the best.

>no crust, the part of pizza everyone throws away
>instead, crust is replaced by a rim of delicious crispy baked cheese

Now, you must realize food perfection does not exist within origin,in order to be perfected you must begin. One might think the perfect pizza must be the one originating in Italy because of marketing, but it is not so. Actually, the perfection of pizza began in Detroit Michigan, and this is where the perfect pizza started. Need more proof? You utter and complete fools who believe pizza even originates in Europe are morons, because it was invented in China lol. Now, accept that this is the best pizza.

I'm from Detroit, lived here for 30 years. You're an idiot from Wisconsin who's never even left his farm.

Detroit style pizza is the best pizza style. Detroit vs. Everyone. We'll kick any farmer or coaster ass straight down to hell. Our pizza is best, our coneys are best.

No, it's actually wrong.

Examine the crust. One has crust, the other has baked cheese. Detroit style is defined by the crust/lack of crust however you want to view it. Or "pizza bones"

Detroit pizza has plenty of sauce, or should, you need it considering how thick the crust is and how much cheese you should use. Literally everything has to go up in proportion bruh, other than toppings which are distributed the same.

> Even in Michigan, very few restaurants sell Detroit-style
Wrong....the two major chains in Michigan are Jet's and Little Caesars, both of which offer it and at one, pretty much people only serve it. The two most well known Michigan "sit down" places are probably Cloverleaf and Buddy's, both of which specialize in it.

Might be a moron, and a pussy, but he's right. Detroit "style" is not defined by the shape (there are other styles of square pizza too) but the crust, or rather lack thereof of a crust, which is what makes it the best pizza. Half the world throws out their fucking crust for a reason.

This is what I say as well. At the end of the day, pizza is pizza, it's always going to be "good", and I'll enjoy a decent slice of any style. However, of all the pizza's I've tried, nothing is as satisfying as Detroit style. It's all about that crispy, crunchy cheese crust
