Hello, I'm an european and fruit pies have been nonexistant in my life until last week which I decided to give peach pie a try since I love them peaches. result was underwhelming since the recipient the pie was on was too big to make lacing and i ended up with a kind of tart with no covering. It was good, I still have some on my fridge, but I'd like to learn how to make good pastry dough since mine was too soft and had to mold it piece by piece on the tray.

I want to get woke on pie, /ck/. Nothing more.

Which fruit is the best to make pie with?

Any useful recepies to make good though and filling?
