Mead is great. People don't appreciate it because in today's modern world, all we drink is confusing stuff like wine and beer. Chardonnay, bordough, logger, clareigh, who can keep all that shit straight? Mead is an honorable drink from a more civilized time. A time when overland trade was conducted using beeswax ingots, badger pelts, and hand gathered native copper deposits found in rich ore bearing veins along the jagged coast line. A time when we dressed in hides and not this modern faggot cloth. A time when wenches were fertile and men knew their place. A time before all these confusing spices and sri racha sauce, let alone sushi and indian food (yuck!).

To enjoy mead properly you must serve it at the proper temperature: basement temperature. If anyone tells you they don't like mead, it's because they've only had the piss poor bulk produced swill.
