>if I add more meat the burger will b more good!
why do people do this? it doesn't work that way at all. the best burgers are balanced in flavour. throwing off the balance is such a rookie mistake

People's expectations are too high. Everyone thinks they have to live a high class lifestyle or they're a failure. There's nothing wrong with simple and old fashioned home cooking: stews, soups, simple fried dishes. They cost little to make, are fast or can be left to cook overnight or when you're at work, taste good, and are nutritious. It's ridiculous that something like that can fall out of fashion. Unless you're making high cuisine or whatever foreign food is currently in vogue, you're called a pleb. Food shouldn't have to be a fashion thing, and certainly not for the mass of the population. It's a trend that started in the 80s and everyone is suffering as a consequence. Everyone thinks they're middle class/rich or whatever, but they aren't, and so they're constantly trying to follow trends that they haven't got the time or the money for.

And yes of course a big part of it is that women are less likely to be in the home now but even with those pressures there's no excuse for not being able to make a simple meal

I guarantee I've eaten more instant noodle varieties than you. I lived off them for years. It's just a fact that the Japanese versions are extremely simple and boring, whereas the products of other countries have a lot more seasoning and flavour. The fact you got so mad just shows how much the rug got pulled from under your feet with my post. Go out, actually try some other noodle brands, and inform yourself before getting involved in this discussion.
