What's a really basic recipe for udon noodle soup? I'm feeling lazy tonight, and have a craving for noodles. I don't want instant. I live near a grocery store that sells udon noodles. I have some vegetable stock, silken tofu, carrots, and not much else.

I'm not too familiar with Japanese cooking, and have never done this before. Does anyone know how to assemble these elements to create a somewhat palatable dish?
