Now that the children have posted their favourite food, let's have the adults talk.

cube it, marinate it in a yogurt + garlic + cumin + coriander + salt for 4 hours.
then stick it in an oven or a nice frypan.
make kebabs with it.

>he bought spices at supermarket rates
Bulk buy them here instead:
https://www.nutsaboutlife.com.au
Most of their herb/spice products are $5 to $10 a kilo depending on which one you get.
I got 1kg of ground coriander for $5.37 which would have cost $60 in the store buying their shitty tiny 25g packets for $1.60.
Their turkish delight is really nice as well.
Comes in really nice ziplock bags. Just make sure if you open it you make it certain it's closed. I had to throw out 500g of dried thyme because bugs got into it.
Being so cheap I bought stuff I'd never have bought before, I'd never tried Sage but I bought 500g for $4.75 and I use it all the time in soups & stews. I never would have used Majoram instead of just regular Oregano but I really like the subtle difference between the two.
I know people say dried/ground stuff loses it's taste after a while but the first order I made was back in January 2019 and all the stuff I've bought then is still strong with the flavour.

starter: rosemary herb bread
main: chicken, spinach & cheese pasta.
dessert: apple crumble or a strawberry sauce dressing (depends on how much effort you want to put into this) with a good vanilla ice cream.
