It's not a conspiracy when practically everyone in this country knows, loves, and praises it for "lifting billions of people from poverty". The same logic which westerners (or at least Americans) have used to justify this system is now being turned against them when they meet the developing world rises to competitor status in the markets and the military. Boomerisms have become stale and the only advice left to follow in this system is to work harder and subjugate ourselves to self-imposed slavery. Or we could just throw this entire system overboard.
