>they really need to start issuing bans for insulting other nations and attacking other people's food tastes

Perhaps another website may be more to your liking?

A significant bulk of /ck/ posters rail against whatever they think that hipsters are, to the point of angst.

Why is it then that they also have a loathing of popular things, decrying them as "memefood", sometimes breathlessly jumping between that and bitching about hipsters. Though hipster is so nebulous a term as to be almost meaningless, particularly amongst shut-ins observing the world through what is relayed to them, the cult of obscurity practised here is exactly the sort of behaviour people attribute to hipsters: "I liked it before it was cool". Hot sauce, IPAs, bacon, even avocado most absurdly are all regularly labelled as memefood. Bacon is a classic example of rejection because of its popularity, widely popular here before the 4chan userbase increasingly with each cycle sought to model itself as an anti version of various popular websites, bacon is now decried as "reddit" and "memefood".

TL;DR memeprefixers are the same as the hipsters they hate so much.

>Shitposting by presenting non-pleb opinions as 'fedoric' is risqué and amusing!

Does /ck/ agree?
