i got one for christmas, still haven't opened it yet.

i'm really not sure what do to with it as i've never deep fried before. i've only done some pan frying in cast iron but that's it.

I just finished a jar of kimchi and poured the juice into a jar of klaussen hot & spicy pickle spears. I hope I didn't just ruin a jar of my favorite pickles.

potato bacon chowda

fry 1lb minced bacon.
add 3 sliced leeks
add flour
add that to 3lb potato cooked in chicken broth
i like to puree half of the potatoes before this
stir to combine.
add pepper?

that's about all you need. chicken broth and bacon is salty enough. comfy winter food.

taco salad, sausage and eggs.

wouldnt be bad i guess. double meat omelette with cheese and tomatoes. served on the lettuce?
