So, I think it's about that time of year again, the time when I make French Onion Soup. Anyone else make this? What sort of alcohol do you use to deglaze the pot? I usually use red wine because we tend to have an open bottle, but do you prefer white wine or vermouth? This is the recipe I tend to use:
