Italian - pasta is a miracle food
Indian - Indian curries have such wonderful flavors
Japanese - I lived in Japan for 5 years, and sometimes I just get really nostalgic for a particular dish. The city I lived in was famous for their specific style of oden, but they also had a notable style of curry, famous gyōza, a wonderful local chain of hanbagu restaurants, there's plenty.
Anyway, this thread is stupid. The whole point of being on a desert island is to limit your options, you need to make it more specific. Like, you can only have three foods of each cuisine, one for each meal of the day or something.

A big load of Shizuoka style oden. Oden is a popular einter stew composed mainly of fishcake, but also potato and egg.

I was so fucking happy to learn my local kaitenzushi place had tiramisu as a dessert. I had no idea it was so popular in Japan.

This isn't exotic at all in Japan but it seems basically unknown outside of it: oden.

Oden, and more specifically Shizuoka style oden. Its fishcakes, potatoes, and konjac on skewers boiled in broth. It's a popular winter food at festivals and in convenience stores. Shizuoka oden is special because the broth is beef stock, and the hanpen fishcakes are a little different.
This was homemade, so nobody bothered with skewers here.
