>last Friday was national pizza day
>work at a pizza place
>for the first time ever we had a special where ordering a soda for dine in got you a free personal sized pepperoni or cheese pizza
>new manager did not schedule nearly enough people for the absolute clusterfuck of a day that was about to happen
>carry out orders are two hours out, people were eventually just waiting looking at the guy cutting the pizzas and stressing him out
>no room in the store anywhere, all seats were taken and there was a line leading out the door
>at least 10 pizzas were sitting on our oven with no idea as to where they need to go
>several people work through their 30 minute break so we can barely scrape by
>all this on top of the orders coming is because it was a Friday
>don't get to start any of our closing tasks until we've already closed
>get out two hours later than we were supposed to be out
>prep for the next day didn't even get done
>mfw even the driver whose worked there for over 12 years said it was the busiest day he's ever worked
I'm still contemplating if I should just put in my two weeks notice, that shift may have broken me.
